WHO WE ARE

Founded in 2006 on Nantucket Island, Timothy McDonald discovered a niche for tech in the luxury, seaside homes being built on the island.  While working frame to finish construction he decided to put his degree in audio engineering back to work and offer automated control, home theater, acoustical treatment and distributed audio systems.  Home Networks, WiFi and surveillance soon became a necessity in every home and business, expanding the services being offered.  He became the Tech Director for the Nantucket Film Festival in 2008 and was the AV consultant for the build of the new Dreamland Theater.  Over his career he has had the opportunity to work with many Politicians, Celebrities and Business icons.  He met his wife, Alexandra, on the island in 2011.  After starting a family, they decided to expand to Colorado to provide a more rounded life for the future.  Working through the pandemic with local residential and commercial AV companies, they decided to relaunch AVi to provide a superior finished product in the Front Range, surrounding areas of Colorado and Nantucket Island.   Every project taken on at AVi is custom curated for your preference.
